T.J. Warren Picks Up Questionable Tag On Friday

Brooklyn Nets forward T.J. Warren (ribs) suffered a rib contusion during Wednesday's game and had to leave the game after playing just 14 minutes. He wasn't able to return to the game and now is uncertain to play against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. Warren has played a big part in the offense while coming off of the bench. Over the last nine games, he has averaged 11.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game on 21.8 minutes per contest. If he can't suit up, look for Joe Harris and Yuta Watanabe to receive some more opportunities.

T.J. Warren Suffers A Rib Contusion

Brooklyn Nets forward T.J. Warren exited Wednesday's matchup against Chicago in the fourth quarter after suffering a rib contusion on a screen. It was a bad ending to a bad night, as Warren failed to score in 14 minutes. The 29-year-old has bounced back well from awful injury setbacks, averaging 9.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in 19.8 minutes off the Brooklyn bench this season. Joe Harris and Yuta Watanabe will have a chance to pick up extra minutes if Warren doesn't recover well enough to play Friday against New Orleans.

T.J. Warren Set For Season Debut Friday

Brooklyn Nets small/power forward T.J. Warren (foot) is on track to make his first appearance with his new franchise for Friday's game against Toronto. Warren last suited up in a contest on Dec. 29, 2020, and has since undergone extensive rehab work to heal a stress fracture in his left foot. His return is timely as Brooklyn deals with the absence of Ben Simmons (knee) in the frontcourt. While fantasy managers will fondly remember Warren's offensive production in the 2020 bubble, there will likely be an acclimation period to getting him into the Nets' fold. As his minutes and usage tick up, he figures to once again become a staple of season-long formats (15.5 PPG for his career).

T.J. Warren Moving In The Right Direction

Brooklyn Nets forward T.J. Warren (foot) has been cleared for contact drills with the coaching staff. Warren, who has played only four games in the last two seasons, continues to work his way back from a left foot injury. The 29-year-old signed with the Nets during the offseason after averaging 15.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.0 steals throughout his career. He will soon begin working with his teammates, barring a setback. However, Warren has a way to go before doing anything meaningful for fantasy managers.
