Collin Sexton To Remain Sidelined On Tuesday Versus Cleveland
Utah Jazz guard Collin Sexton (hamstring) will miss another game due to injury maintenance on his right hamstring. Tuesday marks his fifth consecutive game missed due to the hamstring issue and there doesn't seem to be a firm timetable for his return. While he's been out, Malik Beasley, Ochai Agbaji, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker have all seen some added minutes off of the bench. Beasley would likely be the safer streaming option, but the other two could help in deeper leagues.

Sexton played in five straight games before sitting out of Tuesday's loss to the Sacramento Kings. The 24-year-old will miss his second straight game to what the team is calling right hamstring injury maintenance. Malik Beasley will be asked to handle a bulk of the playing time with Nickeil Alexander-Walker getting extended minutes as well. Beasley is likely rostered in most fantasy formats, but should be snagged if available in any right now. Alexander-Walker could be worth streaming as a deep league option until Sexton is back.

The 23-year-old will return to action after missing the last seven games due to a hamstring strain. Nickeil Alexander-Walker has been seeing an expanded role, but Sexton is expected to take away those minutes. That being said, Alexander-Walker won't be an appealing streaming option with Sexton healthy. The expectation is that Sexton will be limited during his first game back. Although, it shouldn't take him long to get back to full speed.

Sexton had found his offensive rhythm prior to going down, scoring in double figures in nine straight outings (all starts). Malik Beasley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker have stepped up among the second unit, while Jordan Clarkson continues to have a career year (20.2 PPG) in the scoring column. While Sexton's PPG output (14.3) has slightly dipped this season, he has shot a career-best 49.3 percent from the field overall. A return appears on the horizon, with his next chance coming Monday against the Cavs.

Still, the Cavaliers reportedly aren't interested in any of Dallas' tradable assets, so it's unlikely a deal between the two clubs will happen. Sexton, who appeared in only 11 games last season due to a meniscus tear, has averaged 20.0 points, 3.3 assists, and 3.0 rebounds throughout his four years with the team. That said, while he remains a capable producer on the offensive end, he hasn't played more than 65 games in any of his previous three seasons. Managers should remember this during fantasy drafts ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
