P.J. Washington Will Miss Friday’s Game
Charlotte Hornets power forward P.J. Washington (personal) has been ruled out for Friday's contest vs. Atlanta due to an excused personal absence. The game will mark Washington's first missed outing of the year, as he has enjoyed considerable offensive success (career-high 15 PPG) in his full-time return to the starting five. While Charlotte is still waiting to confirm Gordon Hayward's (shoulder) status, Kai Jones and Jalen McDaniels could also be in line for additional frontcourt run without Washington available. The next chance that Washington will have to return to action comes Sunday against the Nuggets.
