  Tyrod Taylor Evaluated For Concussion

  New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (head) exited Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears and is being evaluated for a concussion. Taylor was only playing because Daniel Jones exited with an ankle injury. Taylor's exit forced Jones to come back into the game, but he was visibly injured and New York primarily operated out of the wildcat formation. The Giants have been decimated by injuries and may need to add some quarterback reinforcements in the coming week.

  Tyrod Taylor Should Be Fine

  New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor should be fine, according to head coach Brian Daboll. The veteran was carted off the field during Sunday's preseason showdown versus the Jets after taking a hard shot from defensive lineman Micheal Clemons. There should be a more definitive update regarding Taylor's Week 1 availability sometime soon. However, if he isn't good to go, Davis Webb should fill in as Daniel Jones' backup. Nevertheless, Jones will still need to be on his best behavior if Taylor misses time to begin the regular season because if he isn't, he may end up losing his starting job.

  Tyrod Taylor Carted Off During Final Preseason Game

  New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (back) was carted off the field during Sunday's preseason showdown versus the Jets. The veteran didn't last long, taking a shot from defensive end Micheal Clemons late in the first quarter. There should be an update surrounding his condition before the Week 1 opener versus the Tennessee Titans. However, if Taylor isn't available, Davis Webb is slotted to take over as Daniel Jones' backup.
