    Lane Johnson Back At Practice

Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson (abdomen) was spotted at the team's practice on Friday. He hasn't played since Week 16 when tests showed a torn tendon in his abdominal area, but he appears to be on track to return for the Divisional Round of the postseason next weekend. The 32-year-old decided to put off surgery so that he has a chance of returning in the playoffs, but it remains to be seen how effective he'll be. But getting the four-time Pro Bowler back for a potential deep postseason run will be big for Philadelphia's offensive line. Jack Driscoll and Andre Dillard have stepped into bigger roles on the O-line with Johnson sidelined.

Lane Johnson To Put Off Surgery

After consulting with numerous experts, including Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson (groin) will put off surgery on his torn adductor muscle and will rehab for two or three weeks and will attempt to play in the postseason, according to sources. The recovery time for surgery is 10 to 12 weeks, so Johnson's 2023 season won't be affected by when the surgery occurs, even if it comes in mid-February. The 32-year-old will miss the final two regular season games but will return for the playoffs after suffering a tear in his abdominal area in the Week 16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Jack Driscoll, Andre Dillard and Jordan Mailata are all options to play right tackle in Johnson's absence the next couple of weeks.

Lane Johnson Exits Early In Week 6

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson (concussion) was forced to make an early exit during Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. The veteran tackle was taken to the locker room with what the team is calling a concussion. Jack Driscoll was asked to take over for the rest of the contest. Luckily for Philly, Johnson might not miss a game because the Eagles have a bye in Week 7. His absence would leave a big hole in the Eagles offensive line, so hopefully he'll be ready to go after the bye week.
