Xavier Rhodes Joins Cowboys Practice Squad
The Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive back Xavier Rhodes to their practice squad. The former first round pick joins Dallas after only playing in two games with the Buffalo Bills this season. He won't be active for Week 18, but could be added to the roster when the postseason begins. This is a nice pickup for Dallas who has already lost two defensive backs in Anthony Brown and Jourdan Lewis. The three-time Pro Bowl defensive back should be able to contribute to this roster.

The Buffalo Bills are signing veteran free-agent cornerback Xavier Rhodes to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday night, according to sources. The former All-Pro will help an injury-depleted secondary and will also reunite with defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, who was Rhodes' head coach with the Minnesota Vikings in 2013. Cornerbacks Dane Jackson (neck) and Christian Benford (hand) are injured and All-Pro Tre'Davious White (knee) remains on Injured Reserve for at least another week. Buffalo is also hurting at safety, with Jordan Poyer (foot) sitting out in the Week 3 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Micah Hyde (neck) is done for the year. Rhodes will provide valuable veteran depth in the short term.
