Cody Davis Having Season-Ending Surgery
New England Patriots core special-teamer Cody Davis (knee), who was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday and received endless praise from head coach Bill Belichick, will have season-ending surgery on his injured knee, according to a source. It's a big loss for the Patriots special teams for the rest of the year. The 33-year-old safety suffered the injury in the Week 6 victory over the Cleveland Browns. He finishes his 2022 campaign with just six tackles (three solo) in his six games played.
