Dontae Johnson Out For The Season
San Francisco 49ers veteran defensive back Dontae Johnson (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Week 14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to a source. Johnson's injury occurred in the second half while on special teams. The 31-year-old was injured to begin the season and spent most of the year on the team's practice squad. He'll finish the 2022 campaign with only two games played, recording zero tackles. After a disappointing season, Johnson will now have to undergo a rigorous rehab and won't be ready for the 2023 season.
