Arik Armstead Plans To Play In Week 13

San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead (ankle, foot), who hasn't played since Week 4, told reporters on Thursday that he plans to play in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. In his three games played in 2022, Armstead has five tackles (four solo) and a tackle for loss. The 29-year-old defensive tackle will be an upgrade in the trenches for the Niners, but he could be eased back into the rotation after the long layoff. Armstead put in a limited practice on Thursday. San Fran's defense/special teams unit is typically a top-five fantasy option, but they'll have their work cut out for them against the high-flying offense of the Dolphins this weekend.

Arik Armstead Aggravates Foot Injury Monday Night

San Francisco 49ers star defensive lineman Arik Armstead (foot), who came into the Monday night game against the Los Angeles Rams questionable with his foot injury, aggravated his foot injury and was ruled out for the rest of the game in the fourth quarter. The 28-year-old has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his foot, and on a short week heading into Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers, Armstead might have a tough time getting cleared to play. With Armstead and Javon Kinlaw (knee) injured on the interior of the 49ers defensive line, backups Kevin Givens and Hassan Ridgeway have been pressed into more playing time on Monday against LA.

Arik Armstead Not Playing Against Broncos

San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Arik Armstead (foot) has been ruled inactive for the Sunday night game against the Denver Broncos in Week 3 after he missed practice all week. With Armstead sidelined, Hassan Ridgeway is expected to see more playing time on Sunday night on the road in Denver. Through two games this season, Armstead has been quiet on defense with no sacks, three solo tackles and one tackle for loss. The 49ers defense is still one of the best fantasy units in the league and could have another big game on Sunday night against a Broncos offense that has just two offensive touchdowns through their first two games.
