  Broncos Place Randy Gregory On Injured Reserve

  The Denver Broncos officially placed outside linebacker Randy Gregory (knee) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, so he'll have to miss a minimum of four games after injuring his right knee in the Week 4 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Gregory thankfully doesn't have any damage to his ACL like teammate Javonte Williams, who is out for the rest of the year with a torn ACL and LCL, but he will need to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus. The 29-year-old could miss anywhere from two to six weeks, so there's no guarantee he'll be ready to play when he's eligible to come off IR. Gregory has two sacks through four games and has been one of the team's best pass-rushers, so it will be a downgrade for Denver's defensive unit heading into their Thursday night matchup this week against the Indianapolis Colts.

  Denver Broncos defensive end Randy Gregory (knee) is undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery and will be sidelined anywhere from two to six weeks, depending on how he recovers, according to a source. The good news for Gregory is that his ACL is still intact, so he'll be able to return after a few weeks of rest and recovery. The 29-year-old pass-rusher has been a big force on Denver's defensive line through the first four weeks, compiling two sacks, nine tackles (six solo), seven QB hits and two forced fumbles, so his absence is surely bad news for a Broncos defense that got dominated by the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders in their Week 4 loss. The Broncos defense/special teams unit won't be anything more than a low-upside streaming option in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.

  Randy Gregory Suffers Knee Injury In Week 4

  Denver Broncos linebacker Randy Gregory (knee) was injured late in the team's Week 4 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders and was carted to the locker room. He suffered an apparent knee injury and will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity. The 29-year-old recorded two sacks and two forced fumbles through Denver's first three games and had two quarterback hits before going down on Sunday. Without the veteran on the field, the Broncos defense allowed a game-winning rushing touchdown to Josh Jacobs. If Gregory misses significant time, a more prominent role will be available for second-year pro Baron Browning.
