The Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to their 53-man roster. Several weeks ago, the 27-year-old was added to their practice squad but has yet to suit up for a game. The team recently lost Tyler Lockett (finger), who is expected to have surgery and miss at least this week's game, if not longer. DK Metcalf remains their No. 1 option, with Marquise Goodwin next in the pecking order, but after that, the depth chart is wide open, creating an opportunity for the former first-round pick to make an impact. Treadwell is an intriguing addition in fantasy football as part of a pass-heavy offense that needs a third receiver.

The 27-year-old will serve as depth for the Patriots at the position behind DeVante Parker, Jakobie Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, Nelson Agholor and special teams ace Matthew Slater.
