    Gerald Everett Downgraded To Questionable

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (groin) has been downgraded to questionable ahead of Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Everett practiced in full on Friday and was initially left off the end-of-week injury report, but it appears he suffered some type of setback and is no longer a lock to play Sunday. The 28-year-old has totaled 34 catches, 364 yards, and two touchdowns in 2022. If he can't suit up, Tre' McKitty and Richard Rodgers would see more snaps on offense.

Gerald Everett Off The Injury Report For Week 11

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (groin) practiced in full on Friday and was removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Chiefs. With Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) sidelined, Everett benefitted by amassing 24 targets over his last four games. However, with both wideouts trending toward returning in Week 11, the 28-year-old likely won't see as much attention from quarterback Justin Herbert. With that said, Everett does have an upside, but the potential for an underwhelming performance is greater than the alternative.

Gerald Everett Day-To-Day With Groin Injury

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said that tight end Gerald Everett (groin) is day-to-day after suffering a groin injury in Sunday night's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. "I think you'll see him out there in practice some time this week," Staley said. Everett left the game in the second quarter on Sunday night and never returned, finishing with two catches for 23 yards. However, it sounds like the veteran tight end will have a chance to play on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. The 28-year-old has been a viable TE streamer in fantasy with receivers Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) sidelined, but they both have a shot to return for the showdown against the Chiefs as well.

Gerald Everett Injures Groin Sunday Night

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (groin) suffered a groin injury on Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers and is questionable to return. Everett left the game in the second quarter, but his fantasy managers will be hoping he can get back on the field in the second half. The 28-year-old caught both of his targets for 23 receiving yards before he was injured. The Chargers are already without receivers Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle), so they can ill-afford anymore injuries to their offensive skill players. If Everett doesn't return on Sunday night, Tre' McKitty should be the Bolts' top pass-catching tight end. And with Donald Parham Jr. (hamstring) on Injured Reserve, McKitty could be an interesting waiver-wire pickup next week if Everett's injury is serious enough to cause him to miss additional time.

Gerald Everett Returns To Full Practice Thursday

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (illness) returned to a full practice on Thursday after being held out on Wednesday with an illness. He's now on track to play in the Week 7 game against the Seattle Seahawks. And with fellow tight end Donald Parham Jr. (concussion) still in the concussion protocol without getting on the practice field yet this week, Everett could see more targets in a great matchup on paper. The Seahawks have allowed the most half-point PPR points to tight ends through six weeks. Receiver Joshua Palmer (concussion) is also in danger of missing this week's game, while Keenan Allen (hamstring) is hoping to return for the first time since the season opener, so he could be limited with his snaps if he's back after a long layoff.

Gerald Everett, Donald Parham Jr. Miss Practice

Los Angeles Chargers tight ends Gerald Everett (illness) and Donald Parham Jr. (concussion) were both listed as non-participants in practice on Wednesday. It's a worthwhile development for the Bolts, as receivers Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) could be in danger of missing the Week 7 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Everett and Parham have two more days to get back on the practice field, and fantasy managers will want to monitor their status. Everett is the team's top tight end, catching 22 of 36 targets for 242 yards and two touchdowns through the first six games. If both Everett and Parham can't play in Week 7, Tre' McKitty would be worth looking at as a TE2 streamer in fantasy.

Gerald Everett Will Suit Up In Week 5

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (hamstring) popped up on the injury report on Thursday after logging a limited practice session, but was able to practice in full on Friday and has been cleared to play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 5. Everett is currently the fantasy TE6 in PPR scoring and should continue to produce with Keenan Allen (hamstring) inactive once again. Cleveland has been a tough matchup for tight ends so far this season, but Everett's utilization in the Chargers' offense led by Justin Herbert makes him a quality fantasy start every week.

Gerald Everett Gets In Limited Practice Session

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (hamstring) was added to the injury report on Thursday. Everett was only able to get in a limited practice session, which is concerning. It sounds like the injury could've occurred in practice, but regardless it's a problem for fantasy managers. What happens on Friday will have a big impact on whether or not Everett plays on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Otherwise, Donald Parham Jr. would be the primary tight end for the Chargers. He could have some streaming appeal if Everett is forced to sit out.
