D'Onta Foreman Ejected In Week 18

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman was ejected from Sunday's game after landing an open-handed strike on New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Marcus Davenport. Foreman was livid during and after a scuffle between the division rivals in the third quarter. He finishes Week 18 with 12 rushes for 67 yards. Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear will handle rushing duties for the remainder of this regular season finale.

D'Onta Foreman Will Play Against Saints

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman (knee) is active for the Week 18 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. He was listed as questionable coming into this game due to knee issue. Despite that, Foreman will play and should see plenty of touches in what is likely to be a low-scoring affair. Fantasy managers should put Foreman on the RB2 radar for this upcoming matchup with the Saints.

D'Onta Foreman Questionable To Face Saints

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman (knee) is officially listed as questionable to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 18. Foreman has had a career season, racking up 846 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. The Saints are just a neutral matchup for running backs, so Foreman would be a decent DFS flex play in the season finale for Carolina. If he's out, Chuba Hubbard should see a significant workload, and will be very much on the DFS radar.

D'Onta Foreman Removed From Injury Report

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman (ankle) did not practice Wednesday before practicing on Thursday and Friday and was removed from the injury report ahead of the team's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle has struggled to spot the run and has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs through 13 weeks of the season. That said, Foreman is close to a must-start in Week 14. Players in the Carolina offense don't have safe floors, but Foreman has a ton of upside if he can find the end zone once or twice. Chuba Hubbard will also be a deep league flex consideration, but Foreman seems to be the lead back as of now.

D'Onta Foreman Returns To Practice Thursday

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman (foot) returned to practice on Thursday and is in full pads. Foreman said on Wednesday that he was 95 percent certain that he would play in Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday despite missing practice on Wednesday. There's a much greater chance the 26-year-old will play now that he's back at practice on Thursday. Foreman had last week's bye to rest up, so we'd expect him to play and serve as Carolina's lead back against Seattle. Since Christian McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers, Foreman has become a trustworthy RB2 for fantasy managers. In his five starts in the last five contests, he has 99 carries for 408 yards (4.12 yards per carry) and four rushing touchdowns.

D'Onta Foreman Not At Practice On Wednesday

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman (foot) missed practice on Wednesday. The Panthers had their bye in Week 13, so hopefully, the injury is minor. The veteran running back played in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos. He had 24 rushing attempts for 113 yards and scored 11.3 half-point PPR fantasy points in the win. Fantasy players need to check the injury report later in the week. Foreman likely won't play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks if he misses practice tomorrow and again on Friday. If Foreman is out, Chuba Hubbard would be the starter against Seattle and an RB2 for fantasy players. The Seahawks have surrendered 25.5 fantasy points per game to running backs this season, the second-most in the NFL.

D'Onta Foreman Expected To Be Ready For Week 14

Carolina Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks said that he expects running back D'Onta Foreman (foot, ribs) and defensive end Brian Burns (knee) to be ready for Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks after they were both injured in the Week 12 win over the Denver Broncos. Foreman had 24 carries for 113 yards before the Week 13 bye, and the time off last week appears to have done him some good. The 26-year-old will continue to lose valuable backfield touches to Chuba Hubbard, but he has hit the 100-yard mark four times in 2022 and remains the most attractive fantasy option in the Panthers backfield going forward.

    D'Onta Foreman Not At Practice

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman wasn't at practice on Wednesday. It is unclear why he didn't partake in Wednesday's practice. Foreman has played well since the Panthers traded away Christian McCaffrey. He has averaged 18.8 touches for 87.6 scrimmage yards and 14.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game during that span. Furthermore, the former Texas Longhorn has totaled four rushing touchdowns over the past four weeks. However, if Foreman can't play, Chuba Hubbard would take over as the lead back in Carolina. However, fantasy players shouldn't panic until more information becomes available regarding Foreman.

D'Onta Foreman, Chuba Hubbard To Be Involved In Committee?

Carolina Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks is approaching the backfield as a "by-committee" approach with running backs D'Onta Foreman, Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear after the team traded star running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night. Wilks did not name a starter for Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will most likely be Foreman and Hubbard splitting the majority of the work moving forward. Foreman has twice as many carries (12) as Hubbard through six games and has rushed for 37 yards (3.1 yards per carry). In a poor Panthers offense, neither RB will have very much fantasy appeal as anything more than an RB3/flex option in deeper leagues if they split the backfield touches down the middle going forward.
