Jake Elliott Returning For Sunday Night Football
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott (ankle) is active for Sunday's NFC East battle with the Cowboys. The 27-year-old suffered a right ankle injury during the Week 4 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and hasn't been seen since. Fortunately, he practiced on Friday, providing optimism heading into the contest. With that said, the Eagles' high-powered offensive attack has held Elliott to only five field goal attempts this season. As a result, fantasy managers may want to look for other options moving ahead, at least until Elliott begins to get more involved.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott (ankle) was officially ruled out for Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals. Elliott wasn't able to practice this week after suffering a right ankle injury in the Week 4 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Eagles are expected to bring up Cameron Dicker from the practice squad to the active roster in order to serve as the team's kicker on Sunday with Elliott out. Elliott could be back as early as Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys. Dicker will be making his NFL debut this weekend and should be avoided in fantasy.

This was the expectation after the Eagles signed Cameron Dicker to their 53-man roster. Dicker should be the active kicker on Sunday and isn't a terrible streaming option in this hot Philly offense. However, he is undrafted and doesn't have any NFL experience. Fantasy managers can stream Dicker at their own risk. Elliott should be able to return after this contest.
