D.J. Chark Removed From Injury Report

Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation for the Thanksgiving game against the Buffalo Bills. He returned to action after a six-game absence last Sunday against the Giants. The 26-year-old logged 10 snaps and didn't catch a pass in the Week 11 win. He has seven catches for 98 yards and a touchdown over four games in 2022. Chark is expected to be the Lions' secondary target behind star Amon-Ra St. Brown and could see an uptick in targets if Josh Reynolds (back) doesn't suit up against the Bills. Fantasy managers can use Chark in deep-league formats, but the former Jaguar has eclipsed 50 receiving yards just once this season.

    D.J. Chark Activated From IR

Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark has been activated from injured reserve ahead of Week 11 against the New York Giants. The 26-year-old has been sidelined since Week 3. Through three contests, he caught seven passes for 98 yards and one touchdown. The Lions are expected to be without Josh Reynolds (back) on Sunday, so look for Chark and teammate Kalif Raymond to both fill key roles behind alpha receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

    DJ Chark Returning To Practice

The Detroit Lions designated wide receiver DJ Chark (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday and he will return to practice. The Lions will now have 21 days to officially activate Chark from Injured Reserve, and there's a chance he could play in Week 11 against the New York Giants. The 26-year-old hasn't played since Week 3, so even if he's active this Sunday, he won't be a recommended fantasy play with the Lions likely easing him back into the game plan. Josh Reynolds (back) has missed the last two games, and Chark should eventually return to being the No. 2 next to Amon-Ra St. Brown, so he's worth a waiver-wire pickup in deeper leagues. Before his injury, Chark caught seven of his 18 targets for 98 yards and one touchdown.

DJ Chark Headed To Injured Reserve

The Detroit Lions have placed wide receiver DJ Chark (ankle) on Injured Reserve. Chark is dealing with an ankle injury that has kept him sidelined for the past three weeks. Amon-Ra St. Brown now seems to be fully healthy coming out of the team's Week 6 bye and Josh Reynolds (knee), although questionable to suit up on Sunday, has been very productive this season. With Chark set to miss at least the next four games, Reynolds should be rostered in all fantasy formats and Kalif Raymond is worth a look in deeper leagues.

DJ Chark Officially Ruled Out For Week 7

Detroit Lions wide receiver DJ Chark (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys. Last week's bye apparently wasn't enough to get Chark back onto the field, so his next chance to play for Detroit will come in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins. The 26-year-old hasn't played since Week 3. Josh Reynolds (ankle) is also questionable for Sunday's game, so if he cannot go, Kalif Raymond and Tom Kennedy would be vaulted into bigger roles in the passing game behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. Tight end T.J. Hockenson would be in line for another big game as well in what has been a strong Lions offense through five games in 2022.

DJ Chark Not Expected To Practice Wednesday

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said he doesn't see DJ Chark (ankle) practicing on Wednesday as the team comes out of their bye week. However, he did say that Chark was "a little bit better." Chark hasn't played since Week 3, and he's not off to a good start this week if he won't be on the practice field. However, he'll still have two more days to practice before Sunday's Week 7 clash with the Dallas Cowboys on the road. Depending on the health of Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle), Kalif Raymond, Quintez Cephus and Tom Kennedy could see more opportunities in the passing attack again this weekend behind Josh Reynolds if Chark misses another game. In three games played in 2022, Chark has seven catches on 18 targets for 98 yards and one touchdown.

D.J. Chark Ruled Out For Week 5

Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) is set to miss his second straight game, as he was ruled out for the matchup against the New England Patriots. Josh Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown are both questionable with ankle injuries, but both are strong fantasy plays regardless of the other's game-day status. Chark's rest-of-season outlook is starting to take a hit, as he's been absent from games, and Jameson Williams (knee) will return at some point this season. Chark could be the odd man out when Williams is inserted into the lineup.

D.J. Chark Declared Out For Week 4

Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) has been ruled out for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. This news comes as a surprise as head coach Dan Campbell stated on Friday that Chark would play. The Lions' offense will be without many of its top weapons on Sunday as running back D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) are also both inactive. Jamaal Williams and T.J. Hockenson look like must-start fantasy options as necessary targets for Jared Goff and Josh Reynolds (ankle) will be a solid flex play if active. Kalif Raymond and Quintez Cephus would be next in line for snaps at the wide receiver position.

    DJ Chark Good To Go

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that wide receiver DJ Chark (ankle) is good to go for the Week 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks. And with Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) already ruled out for Sunday's game, Chark could operate as the Lions' top pass-catcher alongside Josh Reynolds in this one. The 26-year-old put up a donut on four targets in his second game with the team, but he had three catches on six targets for 46 yards in last week's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Behind Chark and Reynolds, Kalif Raymond and Quintez Cephus will battle for targets in what has been a strong Detroit offense through three weeks. With St. Brown out and running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) unlikely to play, Chark's ceiling and floor just went way up.

    D.J. Chark Not Practicing Thursday

Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) was not at practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday with an ankle injury. Fantasy managers should check back in Friday for his status, as this will be a better indicator of his availability for Week 4 against the Seahawks. Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) is also dealing with his own ankle injury, so the Lions' pass-catching group is pretty banged-up heading into the week. The former Jacksonville Jaguar has seen six targets per game so far, totaling 98 yards and a touchdown in three games. If any of the Detroit pass-catchers are held out and Chark is to be active, he could make for an interesting streaming option against a porous Seattle defense.

D.J. Chark Limited During Practice On Wednesday

Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury. The 26-year-old was one of the three Detroit wide receivers to make the injury report. However, among his teammates Amon-Ra St. Brown and Josh Reynolds, the former Jaguar was the only one to make an appearance on Wednesday. Chark's limited practice should spell good things to come regarding his availability for Detroit's Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. If either of his wide receiver teammates fails to suit up, Chark could be in for an increased workload against a Seattle secondary that has struggled against the pass this season. Keep an eye on him as a possible streamer for Week 4.
