Michael Badgley Signs With Lions
The Detroit Lions have signed kicker Michael Badgley to their active roster. The 27-year-old has spent each of the last two weeks on the practice squad. Now, it appears the team will officially sign Badgley. He was perfect on his kicks last week and appears to be a reliable option. However, the Lions offense hasn't been too sharp lately. Badgley will be a desperation streaming option for fantasy managers in need of a kicker for Week 8.

Detroit Lions kicker Michael Badgley has been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys. Badgley kicked for the Chicago Bears three weeks ago, going 4-for-4, but he was held off the scoreboard during his Lions debut the week after. Clearly, Badgley has been bouncing around and is looking to earn a more stable roster spot. He has a chance to do so this coming Sunday.

Fifth-year kicker Michael Badgley was signed by the Chicago Bears on Saturday after working out for the team on Friday. He was quickly elevated to the active roster with starting kicker Cairo Santos (personal) questionable to suit up in Week 4. Badgley began 2021 with the Tennessee Titans but was later added by the Indianapolis Colts, for whom he started 12 games and converted on 18 of 21 field goal attempts. Santos and Badgley can both be left on waiver wires as Chicago's offense has not been effective enough to warrant fantasy consideration for either.
