  • Equanimeous St. Brown Will Return In Week 17

Chicago Bears wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) has been cleared from the league's concussion protocol and will play in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions after being removed from Friday's final injury report. St. Brown missed the Week 16 loss to the Buffalo Bills but return for this weekend's divisional clash as the Bears look to snap an eight-game losing streak. With both Chase Claypool (knee) and Dante Pettis (ankle) listed as questionable, the 26-year-old could have a big role in the passing attack in his first game back. However, fantasy managers have been unable to rely on any Chicago pass-catcher this year for consistent production, so you should look elsewhere in fantasy championship matchups this weekend. St. Brown hasn't scored since the season opener and has only 18 receptions for 300 yards on 34 targets in 14 games.

  • Chase Claypool, Equanimeous St. Brown Out Wednesday

Chicago Bears wide receivers Chase Claypool (knee) and Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) both missed practice on Wednesday. Claypool hasn't played since Week 13 (the team had a bye in Week 14), but he doesn't look to be closer to returning in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions. The 24-year-old has been off the fantasy radar in most leagues in his five games with Chicago, as he has just 12 catches on 22 targets for 111 yards and no touchdowns. St. Brown picked up a concussion in Week 15 and miss last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills. He's no lock to clear the concussion protocol before this Sunday. With Dante Pettis (ankle) also nursing an injury, the Bears receiving corps could be down to Byron Pringle, rookie Velus Jones Jr. and N'Keal Harry against the Lions.

  • Equanimeous St. Brown Ruled Out For Saturday

Chicago Bears wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) wasn't able to practice all week and has officially been ruled out to play in Week 16 against the Buffalo Bills on Christmas Eve on Saturday. Chase Claypool (knee) is also listed as doubtful, so Chicago will be down to Byron Pringle, Dante Pettis, rookie Velus Jones Jr. and N'Keal Harry as their wideouts this weekend. Tight end Cole Kmet could have a big game, but the Bears offense will most likely struggle to move the ball consistently against a strong Bills defense. As long as game script allows it, expect the Bears to lean on their running game as much as possible against Buffalo. St. Brown suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and was unable to clear the league's protocols.

  • Chase Claypool Limited, Equanimeous St. Brown Out

Chicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool (knee) was listed as a limited participant on the team's estimated practice report for Tuesday's walkthrough. Meanwhile, Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) took a DNP and N'Keal Harry (back) returned to a full practice. Harry and Claypool were inactive in the Week 15 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Brown suffered a concussion during the game, but it looks like Claypool and Harry have a shot at playing this Saturday against the Buffalo Bills. Claypool is the only real interesting one for fantasy purposes, and that might even be a stretch in 2022. The 24-year-old has a combined 44 catches on 72 targets for 422 yards and one touchdown in 13 games. In his five games for the Bears, he's hauled in 12 of 22 targets for 111 yards and no scores. It's hard to recommend any Chicago receiver as a viable starting fantasy option.

  • Equanimeous St. Brown Downgraded To Out

Chicago Bears wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (head) is being evaluated for a concussion and won't return in Week 15. He caught one pass for 20 yards before exiting. The Bears already have the thinnest receiver corps in the NFL, so losing St. Brown is far from ideal. Dante Pettis and Byron Pringle should see more volume in his absence.
