Andre Dillard To Have Surgery Tuesday
Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard (forearm) will have surgery to fix his broken forearm on Tuesday, according to sources. Dillard has a timetable of four to six weeks for a recovery. The 26-year-old swing tackle suffered a non-displaced fracture in his forearm in practice last week and will be sidelined to start the 2022 regular season. The former first-rounder has been a disappointment since entering the league in 2019 out of Washington State, and the Eagles offensive line depth will take a hit early on with Dillard on the shelf.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard (arm) suffered a significant injury during Thursday's practice. The former No. 22 overall pick suffered a broken arm, which is certainly a blow with the regular season about to begin. The expectation is that Dillard will be able to still play this season. Although, he's expected to be the backup left tackle to Jordan Mailata. That being said, the loss of Dillard shouldn't make much of a difference as long as Mailata can stay healthy.
