Devin Duvernay Facing Two-Month Recovery Timetable

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (foot) suffered a broken bone in his foot during practice on Tuesday and was placed on season-ending Injured Reserve, according to a source. Duvernay faces a recovery timetable of about two months and should make a full recovery for the 2023 season. The 25-year-old speedster had a career-high 407 receiving yards and found the end zone three times on 37 receptions in 14 games, but it was a disappointing effort considering the season-ending injury to No. 1 receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) earlier in the year. The Ravens were already thin at the position before Duvernay's injury, and now they'll be working with Demarcus Robinson, DeSean Jackson and James Proche II as their top wideouts. They also claimed veteran Sammy Watkins off waivers on Tuesday. Robinson should be the most steady of the bunch for fantasy purposes the rest of the way.

Devin Duvernay Placed On Injured Reserve

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (foot) has been placed on the injured reserve. This escalated quickly as Duvernay left practice early on Tuesday due to a foot issue. Now, the 25-year-old could very well be done playing for the rest of the season. Possibly, Duvernay returns during the postseason, but that remains to be seen. Luckily, the Ravens claimed wide receiver Sammy Watkins off waivers from the Green Bay Packers. The expectation is that Watkins is going to have a legitimate role in this offense right away. Fantasy managers who are extremely desperate for production at wide receiver should consider adding Watkins. Hopefully, Duvernay will be fine for the beginning of next season.

Devin Duvernay Cleared For Week 3

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (concussion) has been cleared to play in Week 3 after suffering a concussion in Week 2 against the Dolphins. The speedster started off his last game with a 103-yard kick return touchdown and caught both of his targets for 42 yards. After scoring two touchdowns in Week 1, Duvernay is establishing himself as an important piece of this Baltimore offense, meaning he could find himself as a deep league FLEX option this week. He is third in line for targets behind Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman, but the 25-year-old has been able to produce despite this.

Devin Duvernay In Danger Of Missing Week 3

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (concussion) was limited in practice on Thursday. He didn't practice on Wednesday, so he's at least moving in the right direction after suffering a concussion in Week 2 against the Dolphins. The 25-year-old is having a fantastic season, totaling three touchdowns in the first two games, so the Ravens would love to have him out there versus New England. However, if he isn't available, Demarcus Robinson, who found the end zone versus Miami, could be a sneaky flex option for deep league fantasy managers.

Devin Duvernay Sits Out With Concussion

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (concussion) missed Wednesday's practice after suffering a concussion in the Week 2 loss to the Miami Dolphins. James Proche II (groin) was a limited participant. Duvernay had four catches for 54 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener, but he caught two passes for 42 yards last weekend before suffering a concussion. If the 25-year-old doesn't clear the league's concussion protocol in time for Week 3 against the New England Patriots, Demarcus Robinson and Tylan Wallace would fight for targets behind Rashod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews.

    Devin Duvernay Suffers Concussion

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (concussion) didn't return to Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins. After the wideout accumulated two touchdowns in Week 1, he began Week 2 with a bang, finding the end zone off a 103-yard kickoff return in the first play of the afternoon. Nevertheless, Duvernay will likely ride an injury designation heading into the Week 2 showdown versus the Patriots. However, if he misses time, Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews should pick up some of the slack. Isaiah Likely and Demarcus Robinson may also get more involved.
