Skyy Moore Ruled Out For Week 18

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore (hand) did not practice on Thursday and has been ruled out for the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Moore's injured hand remains swollen and sore, so the Chiefs will take precaution and hold him out so that he's ready to go for the postseason. The 22-year-old second-rounder hasn't made much of an impact for fantasy managers in single-year leagues in his first 16 NFL games, as he's caught 22 of his 33 targets for 250 yards and no touchdowns. With Moore sidelined this weekend, look for receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to see more targets, as well as tight end Travis Kelce. Kadarius Toney and Justin Watson will also have bigger roles.

Skyy Moore Not Seen Working Out In Practice Tuesday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (hand) exited Sunday's game with an injury and opened the week with a missed practice. He was seen holding his helmet, meaning he did not participate in any of the workouts or drills. The 22-year-old has had a quiet season catching three or fewer passes in all but two of his games while clearing 30 receiving yards just three times. Although he's likely not someone fantasy managers were relying on this week, his absence would open more opportunities for JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kadarius Toney, adding to their value. The team still has two more days of practice ahead of their contest on Saturday with the Raiders, giving Moore a chance to suit up.

Skyy Moore Suffers Hand Injury In Week 17

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (hand) finished Sunday's narrow win over the Seahawks by catching three of his four targets for 33 yards. Unfortunately, the rookie sustained a hand injury in the fourth quarter and did not return. Moore had high expectations entering his inaugural campaign. However, he's amassed only 19 catches for 217 yards while being held without a touchdown. Moore will likely undergo further testing to determine the extent of the injury. But considering his lack of production, there won't be many fantasy managers concerned about his status heading into the Week 18 meeting with the Las Vegas Raiders.
