Colt McCoy, Matt Prater Cleared For Monday Night
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Colt McCoy (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (right hip, illness) have been removed from the injury report and will be active for Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. McCoy drew his first start of the season last week in place of Kyler Murray (hamstring), who remains questionable heading into Monday night. The veteran looked solid, completing 26 passes for 238 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Meanwhile, Prater has made all nine extra points and all eight field goals this season, including three from beyond 40 yards.

Matt Prater Fully Practices Thursday
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip, illness) participated fully in Thursday's practice. He missed last Sunday's contest against the Rams due to an illness. The 38-year-old is trending in the right direction towards suiting up Monday against the 49ers in Mexico City. He is a perfect 8-for-8 in field goal attempts and 9-for-9 in extra-point tries over six games. Prater can be used as a streamer against the 49ers in Week 11.

Matt Prater Ruled Out For Week 10
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (illness, hip) has been ruled out for the Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Cardinals are going to play it safe here with Prater battling multiple issues. Tristan Vizcaino will serve as the primary kicker for the team on Sunday. Vizcaino hasn't exactly been a reliable option, so fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a streaming option on Sunday.

Tristan Vizcaino Signs With Cardinals Amidst Matt Prater's Injury
Free agent kicker Tristan Vizcaino has signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He will handle kicking duties on Week 10 with Matt Prater (hip, illness) not expected to play. Vizcaino, 26, hasn't suited up for an NFL team since Week 6 last season. Through six contests in 2021, he went 6-for-7 on field goals but just 10-for-15 on extra points. He should be left on fantasy waivers in most leagues.

Matt Prater Limited Again On Thursday
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) practiced on a limited basis Thursday. He has now been limited in back-to-back sessions. The 38-year-old has had his practice reps capped over the last three weeks while dealing with a hip issue but has been active the previous two games. He is a perfect 8-for-8 in field goal attempts and 9-for-9 in extra-point tries this season. Prater has been removed from the team's injury report for the last two weeks. Barring a setback, Prater is expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10.

Rondale Moore, Matt Prater Limited Wednesday
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rondale Moore (hand) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) were both limited in Wednesday's practice. It doesn't sound like Moore's hand injury is serious. However, quarterback Kyler Murray (hamstring) also missed practice, so Moore's fantasy outlook would dim considerably if Colt McCoy or Trace McSorley were forced to start against the Los Angeles Rams. Moore has been a nice WR3/flex with upside in recent weeks, catching 15 of his 18 targets for 161 yards and one touchdown. Prater missed Weeks 5-7 and is still managing his right hip injury, but when healthy, he's been reliable for Arizona in 2022. He's made all eight of his field goals and all nine of his extra points in six games, although he'll merely be a streaming option in deeper leagues this weekend against the division-rival Rams and their tough defense.

No Injury Designation For Matt Prater
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was limited in practice all week and was removed from the team's final injury report on Friday. Prater returned from his hip injury in Week 8 but was limited to just field goals and extra points. The Cardinals cut Rodrigo Blankenship earlier this week, so it looks as though Prater is closer to full health and will handle all kicking duties in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks at home. Arizona's offense has looked more explosive with receiver DeAndre Hopkins now in the fold, but Prater is averaging just six fantasy points in five games played in 2022. On top of it Seattle has allowed just 6.6 fantasy points per game to the kicking position, so fantasy managers should be able to find better streaming options at the position this weekend.

Matt Prater Remains Limited Thursday
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He has been limited in practice this week and will have one more chance to log a full practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The veteran made both his field goals and extra points in last Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He is a perfect 8-for-8 in field goal attempts and 6-for-6 in extra-point tries over five games in 2022. Prater is bordering streaming option against the Seahawks in Week 9.

James Conner, Matt Prater Limited Wednesday
Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ribs) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Conner hasn't played since Week 5, and it remains to be seen if he'll play this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. He'll likely have to practice in full later this week. Darrel Williams (hip) was placed on Injured Reserve, so if Conner misses another game, Eno Benjamin will once again see the lion's share of the backfield touches against Seattle. Even if Conner is active on Sunday, he could operate behind Benjamin in his first game back. Prater returned last week and has been cleared for kicking duties moving forward, so expect to see him active in Week 9. The veteran kicker made both of his field goals and both extra points last week and will be a streaming option in deeper leagues this weekend.

Darrel Williams, Matt Prater Active Against Vikings
Arizona Cardinals running back Darrel Williams (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) are both active for the Week 8 contest against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Williams will return from a two-game absence and James Conner (ribs) remains out. However, Eno Benjamin has been solid as the team's lead back the last two weeks with both Williams and Conner sidelined, so the Cardinals could continue to give Benjamin the majority of the backfield touches as they ease Williams back into the fold. Williams will be a risky touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in deeper leagues now that he's back. Benjamin still has plenty of fantasy upside this week, but the return of Williams takes a little shine off of him. Prater will return for the first time since Week 4, but fantasy managers can probably find safer kicking options this week.

Another Limited Practice For Matt Prater
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Prater has missed the team's last three games, but he's trending in the right direction and could have a chance to kick this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. If he makes his return in Week 8, he's expected to only attempt field goals and extra points. Due to his injury, fantasy managers are probably best off avoiding Prater for better options. Rodrigo Blankenship was signed last week, and he made both of his field goals and two of his three extra points in last Thursday's win over the New Orleans Saints. If Prater isn't cleared, Blankenship would serve as Arizona's kicker for the second straight week.

Matt Prater Remains Day-To-Day
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) is day-to-day with a hip injury. He has been sidelined since Week 4 due to a hip issue. According to Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury, there could be a situation where Prater only kicks field goals, and Rodrigo Blankenship takes kickoffs. The Cardinals "will be cautious with it at this point." Prater is a perfect 6-for-6 in field goal attempts, and 4-for-4 in extra-point tries over four games in 2022. Fantasy managers can use Blankenship as a streamer if Prater is ruled out again for Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Matt Prater Questionable For Thursday Night
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) is listed as questionable for the team's Thursday night game with the Saints in Week 7. The veteran has been held out Week 5 and Week 6, as Matt Ammendola failed to impress in his two opportunities to start. Rodrigo Blankenship, who was added to the team's practice squad, will start if Prater isn't able to play. Both are hard to trust in a struggling Arizona offense, making the two nothing more than streaming options at the kicker position.

Matt Prater A Non-Participant On Monday
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report. Prater has missed each of the team's last two games, but with the team releasing Matt Ammendola on Monday, it's possible that they might be expecting Prater to make his return on Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7. We should have a better idea on the 38-year-old's status once we see his practice status for the next two days. If the team signs another kicker in the next day or two, there's a good chance Prater will miss his third straight game. Prater has made all six of his field-goal tries and all four of his extra-point attempts in four games played so far in 2022.

Matt Prater Hopeful To Practice This Week
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was unable to play during Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals were forced to use Matt Ammendola at kicker, but didn't have much faith in him. The team decided to go for it on fourth down three times instead of trusting Ammendola to attempt the field goal. That being said, head coach Kilff Kingsbury is hopeful that Prater will be day-to-day this week. The Cardinals desperately need the 38-year-old kicker to be ready in time for their Thursday night matchup. It doesn't sound like Ammendola is going to have any streaming appeal next week, assuming Prater is unable to go.

Matt Prater To Miss Another Game
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game against the Seattle Seahawks. It will be Prater's second straight missed game after injuring his hip in Week 4. With Prater out in the Week 5 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Matt Ammendola filled in and made one of his two field-goal attempts and both of his extra points. The 25-year-old made three of his four field goals and three of his four extra-point tries for the Kansas City Chiefs in two games earlier this year as well. Fantasy managers should be able to find better kicking options than Ammendola this weekend.

Matt Prater Starts Off The Week With A DNP
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was listed as a non-participant in practice on Wednesday. Prater was inactive in the Week 5 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and is considered week-to-week, so it doesn't appear that he's on the right track to return to kicking duties in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals added Matt Ammendola to kick for them last week, and he made one of his two field-goal tries and both of his extra points in last Sunday's loss. In a Cardinals offense that hasn't looked right through the first five weeks, fantasy managers should be able to do better than Ammendola this weekend.

Matt Prater Ruled Out For Week 5
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) has been ruled out for the Week 5 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Recently added kicker Matt Amendola will do the kicking in Prater's absence. Prater suffered a setback with his right hip injury in the Week 4 victory over the Carolina Panthers and will miss at least one game as a result. Fantasy managers that were rolling with the 38-year-old will need to go in another direction. Ammendola filled in for Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker for two games in Weeks 2 and 3 and made three of his four field goals and three of his four extra points. The short-term fill-in should be avoided in fantasy lineups this weekend.

Matt Prater Active In Week 4
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) is officially active for Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers. He was limited in practice all week long and officially listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game. Prater attempted just two kicks through the first two games but bounced back with a big showing last week, converting on all four of his field goal attempts. The veteran has proven to be quite reliable and plays in a strong offense, making him a solid option in fantasy leagues this week.

Matt Prater Has Been Limited This Week
Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater (hip) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday due to a right hip injury. Prater should be able to play in the Week 4 contest against the Carolina Panthers, but fantasy managers should be able to find better options at the position in fantasy. The 38-year-old veteran ranks tied for 26th in total fantasy points through three weeks. He's been perfect on his six kicking attempts (four field goals, two extra points), but he's just not seeing enough volume for an Arizona offense that has yet to hit their stride. All four of his field-goal tries this year came in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
