TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (wrist) has been officially ruled out on Friday due to a right wrist issue. The injury doesn't seem to be serious as it's listed as injury management, so it sounds like more of a rest day. Either way, the Nuggets will have to fill his minutes with some sort of combination of DeAndre Jordan, Vlatko Cancar, and even Zeke Nnaji. Cancar would probably be the safest streaming option of the three since he's already getting some steady minutes.
Saturday, January 07
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's game against Cleveland. He has returned from a bad knee injury and the team has managed his workload carefully, with Murray not yet playing both games of a back-to-back this season. However, it appears that this will change with Friday's matchup after Murray enjoyed an easy 21-minute night against the Clippers on Thursday in a blowout win. Murray did some very efficient scoring Thursday, getting 18 points with only 10 attempts from the field, and will look to do so again against a weakened Cavaliers backcourt that will be missing Donovan Mitchell (rest).
Friday, December 30
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (knee) and power forward Aaron Gordon (shoulder) have been tagged as questionable to play in Friday's contest vs. Miami. Murray sat out the second leg of a back-to-back earlier this week as the team continues to monitor his injury progress after missing all of last year; Gordon has missed the prior two outings due to a strained right shoulder, which has paved the way for Zeke Nnaji to join the starting five. Bones Hyland would be in line for added usage should Murray be held out again, while Nnaji, Vlatko Cancar and Christian Braun would all figure to get roll-of-the-dice DFS appeal if Gordon misses another outing.
Thursday, December 29
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (shoulder) will be sidelined for Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. The 27-year-old will sit this game out due to a right shoulder strain. Zeke Nnaji will draw his second straight start with Gordon on the sideline for Wednesday's contest. He wasn't too sharp during his last time out, so Vlatko Cancar is the better streaming option between the players for this game.
Denver Nuggets guard Bruce Brown (ankle) will be sidelined for Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. This is not good news for the Nuggets with Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon already sidelined. The Nuggets will be forced to move Bones Hyland into the starting five on Wednesday. He certainly has the potential to do damage, so he could be a sneaky streaming option here. He averaged 13.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists during his rookie campaign.
Sunday, December 25
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward/center Jeff Green will be re-evaluated in four weeks after he sustained a left finger sprain and hand fracture Friday against Portland. Green isn't much of a fantasy factor these days anymore, but he's been an important member of the bench unit for Denver, and losing him is a blow for the team. The veteran is averaging 7.5 points per game for the year with 2.8 rebounds in 19.3 minutes of action. Zeke Nnaji is in line to take care of most of the available minutes, and he could have some fantasy appeal if he can carve out a regular role.
Friday, December 23
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (knee) and small forward Michael Porter Jr. (heel) have been deemed questionable to play in Friday's contest vs. Portland. Murray was held out of Tuesday's game as he works his way back from a knee injury that cost him all of last season, while Porter looks to suit up for the first time since Nov. 22. Christian Braun made his first NBA start in place of Murray and would figure to be an upside DFS play again should the 25-year-old remain sidelined. Bruce Brown has seen his role expand in the month that Porter has been unavailable, although the 24-year-old will likely be eased back into the rotation whenever he is officially given the green light to return. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on Denver's final injury report.
Tuesday, December 20
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) has been given the questionable tag for Tuesday night's game due to injury management for his left knee. The 25-year-old hasn't had a day off since before Thanksgiving, and it seems as though the team is going to play it by ear to see if he might need a rest day. He's been averaging around 32 minutes per game lately and boasts a solid 19.3 points and 6.3 assists per game stat line. If he can't suit up, Bones Hyland would be a very promising streaming option.
Saturday, December 17
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (heel) will miss an 11th consecutive game Friday against the Lakers. The 24-year-old continues to work his way back from a left heel strain. Bruce Brown has played a very active role in Porter Jr.'s absence and should continue to do so Friday as well. As a very versatile player, Brown can help fantasy teams in many ways, and he should be guaranteed to get a massive workload against a desperate Lakers team.
Monday, December 12
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets small forward Michael Porter Jr. (heel) was able to shoot and do light work during Monday's practice, per Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post, but he will miss Wednesday's contest against Washington, marking a 10th consecutive absence. Bruce Brown has primarily taken over Porter's role on the wing and among the starting five, giving him some short-term season-long value as he has averaged 12.6 points per game across an average of 33 minutes per night as a starter. Porter has impressed offensively when available this year, particularly from behind the arc, as he has knocked down 2.9 threes per game while shooting at a 42.7 percent clip from deep. With Denver mum about when a potential return could come, fantasy managers will want to check back for word as it becomes available.
Saturday, December 10
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is expected to play on Saturday versus Utah. Murray is dealing with a left knee contusion, but considering he is listed as probable, fantasy managers should expect to see him out there. The 25-year-old is returning to form after missing all of last season, scoring 20 points or more in five of his previous seven games. Barring a setback with Murray's condition, he needs to be in every fantasy lineup.
Tuesday, December 06
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (wrist) is officially questionable for the team's contest on Tuesday night with a wrist sprain. So far this season, he's been a good fill-in while others are hurt and for those that are in deeper leagues. For a starter, he hasn't produced as much as expected though. If he ends up staying on the sidelines, Ish Smith and Bones Hyland will likely see the extra playing time. Both of them would also serve as solid streaming options in deeper leagues.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (heel) will miss his seventh consecutive game and eighth this season while he continues to deal with heel issues. Reports say that he suffered a heel strain and it seems like it's giving him more issues than was previously expected. While he's been out, Bruce Brown Jr. has entered the starting lineup and Vlatko Cancar has seen increased playing time off of the bench. Both of them would be good streaming options in all formats.
Sunday, December 04
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (heel) is out on Sunday versus New Orleans, marking his sixth consecutive absence. Denver next's matchup after this one will be on Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks, although it's unknown if he'll be ready to go for that one. That said, until Porter returns, Bruce Brown should continue to fill the void in the lineup. Brown has averaged 13.7 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 47.5% from deep in 10 starts this year, making him a viable fantasy option in all formats.
Denver Nuggets forward Jeff Green (knee) is questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup versus New Orleans. The veteran has missed the previous five games because of a right knee contusion, allowing Vlatko Cancar and Zeke Nnaji to get some extra minutes in the rotation. Green has averaged 7.9 points and 2.6 boards, so he won't offer much to fantasy managers even if he suits up. At the same time, neither will Cancar and Nnaji.
Friday, December 02
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (quadriceps) was previously listed as probable to play on Friday but has since been downgraded to questionable. Getting the downgrade in the afternoon before tipoff isn't too promising, especially after shootarounds happened. On top of that, with Murray's injury history, the Nuggets could opt to play it safe. If he doesn't suit up, Bruce Brown and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will be the best streaming options to throw into any fantasy lineups.
Tuesday, November 22
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (illness) has received the questionable tag with a non-COVID illness alongside Aaron Gordon. This comes as surprising news since he was listed as probable with hip soreness earlier in the same day. The downgrade with an entirely different ailment doesn't sound promising for his chances to suit up. If he can't give it a go, Bruce Brown Jr. will likely see more minutes off of the bench. He's been great in relief especially when Hyland hasn't played.
Monday, November 21
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward/center Jeff Green logged just five minutes of action in Sunday's 98-97 win over Dallas, exiting the game with a knee issue. He left for the locker room already in the first quarter with a right knee problem, finishing with four points and one rebound. The Nuggets somehow managed to win this game, but they already have multiple guys out and it's going to leave them in big trouble for the upcoming games if nobody is able to return. DeAndre Jordan has eaten up a lot of minutes lately and picked up 17 rebounds Sunday, while Zeke Nnaji should also get another boost if the frontcourt options remain limited Tuesday versus Detroit.
Sunday, November 20
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (hip) is considered probable for Sunday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The Nuggets are already without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray due to health and safety protocols. Luckily, it appears that Hyland is on track to play, which is good news for him. He'll continue to see increased usage with the Nuggets shorthanded right now. He scored 17 points on Friday and is certainly worth looking at as a streaming option with Denver in desperate need of scorers.
Friday, November 18
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
The Denver Nuggets continue to have problems with COVID-19. Jamal Murray entered the health and safety protocols on Thursday. The Nuggets point guard will miss Friday's contest versus the Dallas Mavericks. Not only is Murray out, but two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic also is out due to COVID. Although it doesn't bode well in the win-loss column, Denver's role players can increase their counting numbers during the two stars' absence. Bones Hyland's fantasy managers are licking their chops, as the shoot-first guard has a chance to make another splash like he did last season. The backup point guard is already posting a higher usage rate (30.7) this season than he did during an injury-riddled campaign with the Nuggets in 2021-22. Expect some high-scoring numbers from Hyland while Murray recovers.
Denver Nuggets power forward Aaron Gordon (illness) has his status for Friday's contest vs. the Mavericks up in the air after missing the team's afternoon warmup due to an illness. The team already has Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in the league's health and safety protocols, leaving them short of star power for the time being; Michael Porter Jr. is expected to already have a huge workload with Jokic/Murray down and would see his stock rise even more with a Gordon absence. Jeff Green and Zeke Nnaji would be the biggest candidates to see an elevated workload in the frontcourt, although fantasy managers will want to confirm Gordon's status prior to tip-off.
Wednesday, November 16
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (protocols) has entered the league's health and safety protocols and will not play Wednesday against the New York Knicks. Jokic must have tested positive for COVID and must test out before being able to return to the court. Players have typically tested out within five-to-seven days which would have Jokic miss at least the next two games. With Jokic out, Aaron Gordon and DeAndre Jordan should see boosts in fantasy value.
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (protocols) is listed as doubtful to play Wednesday against the New York Knicks due to the health and safety protocols. Hyland has missed the past two games due to protocols and now star teammate Nikola Jokic (protocols) has been ruled out. The doubtful status indicates Hyland may be nearing a return. Until that happens, Bruce Brown should continue to see the bulk of the minutes as he has played 37 and 31 minutes, respectively, in the two games Hyland missed.
Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (illness) is listed as questionable Wednesday against the New York Knicks. The Nuggets are having a small COVID problem, but Gordon is actually listed with a non-COVID illness. With Nikola Jokic (protocols) already ruled out, Gordon would be in line for a big role if he can play. If not, look for DeAndre Jordan and Jeff Green to see big minutes on Wednesday.
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (health and safety protocols) was listed as doubtful earlier on Wednesday. He's been upgraded to questionable, which could be very promising, seeing as the health and safety protocols are still some muddy waters. He's missed the last two games, and the biggest beneficiary has been Bruce Brown. If Hyland can suit up, Brown probably won't be worth putting into fantasy lineups, except for in much deeper leagues.
Sunday, November 13
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland remains out on Sunday against Chicago while adhering to health and safety protocols. The 23-year-old didn't suit up on Friday versus Boston, opening the door for Bruce Brown to record a double-double. Based on the strong performance, Brown likely earned himself enough minutes to stay productive for fantasy managers for at least a few more games moving forward.
Friday, November 04
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Zeke Nnaji (ankle) is considered questionable to return for Thursday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It's a shame because Nnaji was playing well before suffering an ankle sprain. The 21-year-old snagged five rebounds in only five minutes of action. Jeff Green and DeAndre Jordan will see increased playing time off the bench, assuming Nnaji doesn't return to this game.
Wednesday, November 02
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (hip) has received the questionable tag for the team's game on Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was able to go through a full practice on Wednesday and Harrison Wind reports that he'd be surprised if Hyland didn't play. With that type of confidence, it sounds like fantasy managers can insert him into their lineup. Just to be on the cautious side, be sure to check the injury report before game time.
Saturday, October 29
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (ankle) is out for Friday's meeting with the Utah Jazz. KCP has had a fanatic season, averaging 11.8 points, 3.8 boards, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 50.0% from downtown. It's unknown how long he'll be out, so there's a chance he could be back for Sunday's game versus the Los Angeles Lakers. In the meantime, Bruce Brown will move into the starting lineup and could thrive with additional minutes.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) is available versus the Utah Jazz and will start. The 24-year-old got the night off against the Lakers on Wednesday to rest. Considering he entered 2022-23 coming off a season-ending back injury, Porter will sit sporadically moving ahead. The 2018 first-round pick is still having a fantastic year, averaging 18 points and five boards while shooting 50% from deep, so fantasy managers must keep him starting on Friday night.
Thursday, October 27
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) was originally ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The team was going to rest Porter because of his back, but it sounds like that could change. Head coach Mike Malone mentioned that Porter is listed as questionable for this contest. Possibly, Porter will surprise fantasy managers and actually get on the court for this game. It's unknown whether or not he'll be limited if he does play, but regardless fantasy managers should check back before tip off.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) has been officially ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Head coach Mike Malone did say Porter was questionable, but the team has ultimately decided to have Porter sit out. The team is going to be cautious with Porter, but he should be ready to play on Friday. The Nuggets will likely use a committee approach to fill the void. Bruce Brown and Jeff Green could see increased playing time with Porter on the sideline. They could be potential streaming options in deep leagues.
Wednesday, October 26
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) will sit out Wednesday's contest against the Lakers. The talented forward will miss his first game of the season, but he is expected to be back on the court Friday against the Jazz. Porter has been Denver's second-leading scorer this season, getting 18 points a night in 29 minutes. Bruce Brown could be moving to the starting five to replace Porter on Wednesday, while Jeff Green and Bones Hyland should also have a chance to play bigger roles.
Tuesday, October 25
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) is listed as questionable to play Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Porter, who has had back injuries in the past, has played an average of 29 minutes per game so far this year, and this could be an opportunity for Denver to rest him. The Nuggets are not entering a back-to-back set, so it remains to be seen if there is anything underlying going on. Nevertheless, if Porter is unable to go, expect Jeff Green and Bruce Brown to see boosts in playing time.
Friday, October 21
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (hand) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The 27-year-old is dealing with a minor finger sprain, so he should be able to play through it without any issues. Jokic looked strong in the season opener with 27 points in 33 minutes of action. Possibly, the Nuggets limit Jokic depending on how he's feeling, but he should suit up on Friday. Fantasy managers shouldn't have to worry about Jokic missing time because of this injury.
Thursday, October 20
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray and forward Michael Porter Jr. are in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season opener against the Utah Jazz. Both players will be returning after lost seasons in 2022. It'll be interesting to see how the Nuggets handle their playing time going forward. The expectation is that both players will be somewhat limited in order to try and keep them on the court. It's also worth noting that Nikola Jokic is starting despite dealing with a wrist injury during the preseason. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting all three of them on Wednesday.
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday as the team continues injury management for his left knee. To go along with the injury management, Murray still has to shake off a considerable amount of rust. Wednesday night was his first game since April of 2021. Once he gets a few more games back under his belt, fantasy managers should start to see him return to form. For right now, stay tuned to see if he experiences any setbacks that would keep him out of the next game.
Monday, October 10
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (wrist) is considered doubtful to play in Monday's preseason contest against the Phoenix Suns. He underwent an MRI on Friday and the team isn't concerned about a long term injury. The Nuggets are likely just being cautious here, so fantasy managers shouldn't be worried. DeAndre Jordan will likely start again if Jokic sits out on Monday. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Jokic, but he should be fine for opening night.
Saturday, October 08
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (wrist) came out of Monday's preseason game due to an injury. Luckily, it sounds like a minor injury and the MRI results came back and showed nothing sinister, according to head coach Mike Malone. The Nuggets won't have Jokic available for Friday's preseason contest. DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji will be fighting for the backup minutes behind Jokic this season. Neither is going to have much streaming value while Jokic is healthy. Fantasy managers should expect Jokic to be fine for opening night.
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (hamstring) was seen limping to the locker room during Friday's preseason matchup against the Chicago Bulls. This is concerning after Murray missed basically all of last season due to a torn ACL in 2021. It sounds like this is a non-related hamstring issue, but those do have a tendency to linger. The Nuggets are likely going to be cautious with Murray early in the season. Although, he'll have fantastic fantasy value, assuming he can eventually get back to full speed.
Wednesday, October 05
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (wrist) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, according to head coach Mike Malone. The superstar big man came out of Monday's preseason contest with a wrist injury. It doesn't sound like this is a serious injury, so fantasy managers shouldn't be concerned about Jokic missing time. The expectation is that Jokic will be fully ready for the beginning of the season.
Tuesday, October 04
TEAMPLAYERTRANSACTION
Denver Nuggets forward/center Zeke Nnaji had his fourth-year option picked up on Monday. The No. 22 overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft has played 83 games for the Nuggets in his first two years in the league. During that span, he's averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting an impressive 43.9% from downtown. Nnaji isn't a lock to see regular minutes in 2022-23. However, the 21-year-old could insert himself into the rotation as the season progresses. Although that won't do much for redraft participants heading into the year, dynasty managers should continue to hang on to him.
